Why be a CFS?
* Show the world you have superior knowledge
* No paperwork, application, work other than pass the test.
* Re-certification is required - you are required to move up to CFP or MCFP within 5 years. Who should be a CFS?
* Those who are newer to the industry, current students.  This test is judged to be less difficult than the MCFP and CFP exams, so a good place to start. 
* Military E-4 and E-5.  Also E-6 and above who are preparing for the other examinations. 
* Anyone seeking a promotion or a new job - build the resume.
 
The CFS test has 80 questions. The CFS tests' 80 questions demonstrate your knowledge in the following areas:
